About Garden Gear
This website has been designed to offer high quality gardening products, tools and equipment that are value for money and make life a little bit easier. Coming from a family of keen gardeners, many of whom also work in the industry, I love gardening. My efforts are often not particullary successful, that's gardening!, but one thing I have learned is that having the right tools can make the difference between success and failure and can also enhance the enjoyment of time spent gardening.

We currently stock the full range of Darlac Products gardening tools and equipment but aim to source more innovative products for the garden, and expand into to gifts for the gardener, in the near future. Another range of products that I intend to expand on is children's tools. I have been mainly influenced in this decision by my 3 year old daughter, who is encouraged at every opportunity to help in the garden. I am often dubious as to how much 'help' she actually provides but the fact that she really enjoys it makes it worth the additional work she creates. I would like to offer as many products for children as possible, as I believe gardening offers time for them to learn whilst having fun. Whilst this website now offers all the products we currently stock, it is really a work in progress. I intend to gradually expand on the information provided for each product by including details of weights, dimensions, more in depth descriptions and also details of any editorial from gardening magazines that have been published. Darlac Products have received a great deal of press attention over the years, researching this and updating the website may take some time, so please bear with me. Again I would be delighted to know of any comments you may have about how I can improve the website.
