Product Description

From the Garden Gear range of heritage herb seeds. Oregano is a perennial herb with purple flowers and spade-shaped, olive-green leaves. The plants are tolerant of most soils and needs very little care however do not allow the plants to become waterlogged. Harvest leaves in July before the flowers appear. The leaves can be dried in a dark dry warm place until crumbly in texture then stored in an airtight container where they will retain their flavour for up to 6 months.

Sow indoors from March in individual pots of compost, then plant out once frosts are over.  Alternatively sow directly in the position they are to be grown, from May.
