From the Garden Gear range of heritage fruit seeds. The Wild Strawberry is a common native plant found in open fields and woodlands. The neat clump forming habitat of wild strawberries make them an excellent choice for edging or ground cover, but can also be grown in containers and hanging baskets.
Sow seed from January to April in trays of compost on a sunny windowsill. Transplant into individual pots when seedlings have 4-5 leaves. Plant outside in June. Keep well watered.
