From the Garden Gear range of herb seeds, English Sage is an important culinary herb but can also be used in a border as a decorative evergreen shrub. With long, rough, wrinkled leaves and a strong fragrance. The flavour is best when fresh but the leaves can be dried for storage and use throughout the year.
Seed is best sown thinly, outdoors in April to May but can be sown indoors and transplanted to the garden once danger of frost has passed
